    Replicating the past

This is an excellent book filled with pictures from the start of the project through the sea trials until today. It’s an excellent documentary pertaining to knowing everything about shipbuilding and learning the rest on the way. This is the largest Viking ship built that sails. It is written in Norwegian, and in English. So this is a good chance to learn some Norwegian terms pertaining to ships.

    Beautiful Book!

As a long time student of Viking ship building, this book is a complete and utter joy to behold. The many pictures are so well done and illustrate the traditional construction methods clearly. Nothing is left to doubt and the dual text is an additional treat for those of us who still can read Norwegian! An exquisite book to say the least, and one of the jewels in my personal library.
