Description

Build this 11'2" dinghy following the step-by-step instructions of boatbuilding Eric Dow. The Shellback Dinghy is a modern classic that rows, sails, and tows beautifully. She has a traditional bow, a narrow rockered bottom, and a sweet transom that lifts well out of the water. This is engineered for the amateur builder.

If you are considering building from our kit, then read this book a time or two, and your decision will be all the easier.

If you decide to build, you will need to order boatbuilding plans. You cannot build straight from the book.

Take advantage of the lower prices of these slightly damaged books. These books have been returned, are slightly bunged or scuffed. None of these books are severely damaged, ie; ripped pages, water stained, and the like. They are perfectly readable, useable books.

Please note: slightly damaged books are sold as non-returnable.

Great reference for any small rowing/sailing dinghy

I use the step-by-step instructions and pictures as reference for another small row/sail dinghy that I am building! A great resource.
