Based on a 29' working Friendship sloop, this 3'7" (length on deck) model behaves like a true sailing vessel. With her tiller wedged in place and her sheets properly trimmed, she beats into the wind, reaches, runs downwind can even tack if her hollowed out hull (built by the lift method) is fitted with a radio control mechanism.
You'll receive 9 pages of plans and patterns. In addition to the plans, there's a 16 page booklet of the illustrated step-by-step instructions, including how to make a mold for a ballast keel, and cast the lead using simple containers and techniques. And, there's a "getting underway" section written by Iain Oughtred... when he was staying with us many years ago.
