By Ross Lillistone, FLEET has full length longitudinal seats, for bouancy as well as keeping you in the center of the boat when moving about. Run her on a small gas outboard (Ross likes his 4hp 4cycle) or perhaps an electric for silent running. She's stitch-n-glue ply construction, from 6mm plywood. Also included in the plans are shapely oars, 7' and 7'6". Plans include 11 pages, plus another 24 pages of instructions.

If ordering Digital plan sets: These files are in PDF format.  Some designs will have just a single page needed to be printed on large paper... typically if they had full-sized mold patterns. Other pages could be printed on letter or tabloid size paper, if you want to save printing costs. You'll see a measurement on pages that have full-sized drawings, so your local print shop will just need to print to that size.

“Your downloads are ready” will be the subject line of an email you’ll receive from us—once we’ve processed your digital order. That email has the link to click, so you can then download the file.

This isn't an "instant" process, so if we're asleep, you may need to wait for regular business hours for us to process the order. Although we are quite timely, we may not be processing on weekends & holidays.

First time ding stitch and glue
Nice little boat

My first attempt at stitch and glue construction. EASY to build. I varied from the plans by "glassing" both sides of all panels, and adding a keel of 1x4 pine with a nylon skid strip. It's a little heavy, but I think the durability will out way the weight. I named itMYOTT

FIRST BOAT PROJECT

Having never built a boat before, I finally picked one that required basic skills. After reading the notes and looking over the plans, I’m really excited to get started. I’ll post pictures along the way. The delivery of the plans was quick and well packaged. No fears of paper envelopes getting bent and torn in the mailing process. The plans came rolled up with paper packing in a cardboard box. There was a nice little “Thank You” card included. I will definitely plan to make future boat needs from The WoodenBoat Store.
