Late 19th-century skimming-dish sloop designed by Isaac P. Wilkins. Said to have been the most intelligently designed of the extreme skimming-dishes, she had a wide, shoal hull fittedwith a centerboard and a huge press of sail. The plans produce a model that is 20" long.

You'll receive 3 pages of plans historical informationabout the boat and step-by-step instructions for half-hull building using the lift method and full-sized patterns for each lift, as well as template for you to shape the profile.

The plans provided all that I needed to complete the model. I've since built "Madge" and realize that Schemer was more of a challenge because the bottom lifts are longitudinally oriented and it can be confusing. However, the model turned out great and I learned enough to make Madge easier.
