We just added a "tool" which belongs in every workshop. It's a Bench Brush, but of course, not just any bench brush. It's made by the good folks at Fuller Brush. They know what they're doing, having been at it since 1906.

We've also just added three more digital boatbuilding plans to our collection. The 9'-6" Nutshell, 11'2" Shellback, and the Haven 12-1/2 (16') now have the "instant download" option. This is especially helpful for folks outside the U.S., as overseas delivery times can vary, shipping can be pricey, and who knows what extra fees might be tacked onto the physical package at the slow border crossing. We will eventually have all of the Joel White designs available as downloads.

One of the best boat shows around is happening this weekend. If you can break away from all of life's pressing matters, make your way to The Maine Boatbuilder's Show at the waterfront in Portland. You can skip the blue blazer and Breton Red pants for this one.

And finally, in the "it's just interesting" scheme of things, you may want to take a look at a series of photographs in a thread on our WoodenBoat Forum, titled Boat Photos Circa 1909. Neat diversion.
