If you think you might go to the movies this fall, you'll first want to read the new book The Finest Hours, the true story of an incredible rescue, which you may recall being featured in WB 212. And yes, we have embedded the movie trailer on our Site.

Decisions, decisions, decisions. We've added yet another color to our cotton cap collection just to overload you with choice options. The latest is "Mud Season" which is, of course an earthy brown color. And this cap, along with the rest of the bunch, can have your boat name embroidered on the back. Click Monograms for more info.

Since it's July, you're probably thinking JANUARY which means "Where's my calendar?" Yes indeedy, we already have the 2016 version of The Calendar of Wooden Boats in stock. It never ceases to amaze us how many folks think that far ahead of the game.

And lastly, if you weren't one of the many thousands of folks who made their way to Castine, Maine for arrival of the French frigate L'HERMIONE, we have a treat for you. Click Tour L'HERMIONE for a 10 minute video, including commentary from WoodenBoat editor Tom Jackson. And as you're in video mode, WoodenBoat's YouTube section has a growing number of videos. Here are links to two which feature our WoodenBoat School / Alumni. Nice production, thanks to Truman and Robin. WB School – Part 1 and WB School – Part 2. The only warning is, these School videos may create a very strong "wish I was there" tug. Granted, there's a CURE for that.
