If you're in the market for a rugged tool bag, our new Tool Totes may fit the bill. Made in North Carolina, these are heavy-weight cotton canvas, with copper rivet reinforcements and thick bridle-leather handles. They measure approximately 6" x 13" x 11-1/2" tall, ringed by 8 pockets. Choose from Natural Canvas and Waxed Canvas. It's not too early to start dropping hints.

And, from the same maker of the Tool Totes, we have two sizes of new Tote Bags. These traditional Totes are made of cotton canvas, trimmed in dark blue, as well as having a red WoodenBoat logo embroidered on the outside pocket. Take a look at the Medium and the Large. And yes, they can be monogrammed.

New on our bookshelf is a treat for the runabout fans. What's in Your Boat House? is subtitled Amazing Stories of Nautical Archaeology. It features stories and restorations, including Matt Smith's find of the "On Golden Pond" Chris-Craft 22-footer, Thayer IV.

Perhaps you know of Barbara Merry as an exhibitor at The WoodenBoat Show, or as a teacher at our WoodenBoat School. Now you can learn directly from her new book Marlinspike Sailor's Knots and Crafts. It just arrived here in Brooklin, and it's just in time to help with your fancy work, including flat knots.
