Brand new and now available for the first time... and whatever other hyperbole one might muster to let you know we have the digital download version of our new MotorBoats 2013 magazine. Click MB13 Digi and you can be reading it in about 5 minutes. And if you're in the paper-ink frame of mind, click MB13 Print, and we can ship a copy to you (hint: first class mail has the lowest ship rate).

It's summertime and the livin' is easy. The mackies are jumpin' and the Eggemoggin Reach Regatta is nigh. In fact, it's happening this coming weekend, and we're oh-so ready. If you happen to be looking for boat nirvana, make the trek to Brooklin, Maine, because about 100 of the prettiest wooden boats around will compete in the race. The Egg Reach Regatta was patterned after the Opera House Cup, which is featured (along with many wooden boat illuminati, including Steve White, founder of the ERR) in a brand-new DVD Wood Sails Dreams by filmmaker John Stanton. And, and it's narrated by our own Jon Wilson. Click Wood – Sails - Dreams for more.

Lastly, in early July we mentioned the St Ayles skiff World Championships in Ullapool, Scotland. Fortunately for us, Kathy Mansfield (highly regarded nautical photographer, in town for the ERR) was in our Store on Monday, and mentioned she had been in Ullapool taking some photos. And some photos they are. Click Kathy-St Ayles to see the event as covered by a pro.
