If it seems like we're piling on the emails, it's probably because we're piling on the emails. Our "shameless commerce division" (thanks, Click & Clack) understands that picking gifts for the holidays pretty much needs to happen now. The good news is, we won't be darkening your email in-box again for the rest of this year.

Heads-up: the 2018 revised edition of Allen Taube's book The Art of Wooden Boat Repair is now in stock. This new edition adds updated content, illustrations, and reference sources to the many pages of good advice. You could have it in just a couple of days. Click TAUBE.

It's been a few years since we've carried The Evolution of the Wooden Ship, but we now have it in stock. Written by Basil Greenhill, it's illustrated by Samuel F. Manning... who is no stranger to followers of these notes. The book is packed with his drawings which include caulking and dubbing drawings and so much more. Click EVOLUTION.

And, just in case you don't hover over our website as we do, there are a few items that were out of stock, but are back on our shelves:
- Fleece Vests
- Scarfing Basics
- Adirondack Guideboats
- Putt Putts... those loud and little metal steam-powered boats

And lastly, December is a good time to remind you to renew your WoodenBoat magazine subscription, as so many of you have it start with the Jan/Feb issue. Also... even though it's just past mid-December, we do have the first issue of 2019. Click WB 266 for the print version.
