Yesterday's big truck delivery brought us two pallets of the long-awaited Small Boats annual 2019 issue. Published every year since 2007, it's a best of Small Boats Monthly, our on-line publication. That neat cover shot is by Nic Compton (author of the bio about Iain Oughtred) who took it from in (not on) the water. Click PRINT or DIGITAL.
Speaking of Small Boats Monthly, did you see the "Padook" piece? It's a combination paddle + boat hook, and if dropped overboard, it floats upright so you can grab it. You'll see a short video about the padook on our BOAT HOOK page.
Back in stock: Colonial Rigging Knives. They haven't been available for awhile, so we wanted to let you know we've got'em. This is the zytel handle version, and non-serrated blade, US Navy issue. Word is the delay in our getting more inventory was tied to a government order. No word on wood handled version eta. Take a look: RIGGING KNIFE.
A new book just arrived here: The Adirondack Guideboat. It's all about the history and the builders, and nicely presented on coated stock with lots of color images, current and historical. Click NEW BOOK.
It's time for a reminder that we carry a variety of top-notch 2019 calendars. We have four different wall calendars, and one desk version. Some tend to sell out, so don't dilly. Click CAL now.
And lastly, we have a section of small-ish items on our site that appears just at this time of year. Just trying to be helpful: click SS.
