We now have Navy and Khaki nylon caps back in stock. These hats are lightweight, have decent UV protection, and throw a bit more shade your way as they have a longer bill than your standard hat. Click CAPS.

We've stocked an exceptionally nice sailing shirt for the last few years, but hesitated to post them on our site. We thought folks should try them on first, as they're not for everybody—in the truest sense of the word. But customers would buy them in the Store and later want to order another--and couldn't find them on our site. We now have them on our Store site, but ask you to read the copy about fit and sizing before ordering. Click SAILING SHIRTS.

Thinking of selling your boat? A WoodenBoat School student recently mentioned that he sold his boat via our Small Boats Monthly CLASSIFIEDS section, and that several other venues just didn't work for him. His regret was simply that he could only delete the listing, instead of it being stamped "SOLD". That might be a future addition.

And lastly, If you're near Maine Sept 22-24, you may want to head for Portland for the 2018 Maine Small Craft Celebration. Hopefully this first event becomes an annual. It's at the new Portland Yacht Services on the Fore river. Click EVENT to read all about it.
