A bunch of folks liked our new Light Blue T-shirts at the WoodenBoat Show, so we've added them to our line-up. All cotton, super soft pigment dyed shirts sport a big logo on the front. Click New T-shirt.
Looking for a good summertime read? First You Have to Row a Little Boat may do the trick. Available in softcover, it may fill that need of getting "lost" in a book.
Another good summer read just had a price drop because it's now available in paperback. Check out Tides by by Jonathan White.
Good rigging knives are not always the easiest things to find. After months of being out of stock, our Colonial Rigger's Knives are one again ready to ship. These feature a locking marlinspike, a shackle key, textured handle, and a very reasonable price.
Goings on around town. Coming right up... July 25-29, based at Atlantic Boat in Brooklin, Maine is the Small Reach Regatta. And while registration is now closed for the event, it's well worth your while to be there when they head out. Take a look at this year's impressive fleet of 83 boats.
And another event going on near us: the Stonington Opera House will be showing the film The Restorer's Journey (about WoodenBoat founder Jon Wilson) on August 2. Fret not, we have the DVD if you can't make it to Stonington.
And lastly, one more reason to visit our neck of the woods & waterfront is to view some of the finest sailing yachts as they gather for the annual Eggemoggin Reach Regatta. The race is Saturday August 4, and typically attracts about 100 classic wooden boats to our WoodenBoat waterfront. It's photo op heaven.
