To: WoodenBoat Devotees
For our last intrusion into your inbox this year, we'll point out somethings old, somethings new, but no borrowed or blue.
The old, and still very popular is Keeping the Cutting Edge, a book we first published in 1983. And old as far as tech goes, is our Schroeder Brest Drill. No cords, no battery packs included, or of any use.
The new, as in just arrived this morning, personally delivered by publisher/editor/author Mike O'Brien, the latest issue of the magazine Boat Design Quarterly. Choose from print or digital download version. This is #48 for those of you keeping track of those things. Don't miss reading the editor's letter--we've added it to the listing on our site, in PDF format.
Also new, we're sharing an article from the new Jan/Feb issue of WoodenBoat, written by Simon Watts about the Norwegian Pram. And yes, we do have the plans and instructions as a PDF (download). Click share to read all about it.
And lastly, please accept our "thanks" for read reading these newsletters, and your responses throughout the year. We're sending this on a Monday instead of Wednesday, to give you a heads-up that if you order now, you can still receive orders before the 25th.
Scot & Crew
ps: Thanks to our WoodenBoat Store Crew... Ann, Chet, and Jody, as they make it all happen, and have been doing so for years. Between the four of us, we have over 90 years of mail order experience. Yikes.
