To: WoodenBoat Devotees

We have more new boatbuilding plans available: three designs from Dave Gentry are now in-stock. And these are some of the fastest boats to build because of their simple skin-on-frame construction. The Chuckanut 15 for paddling, Annebelle for sailing, and the wherry Ruth for fixed or sliding-seat rowing.

On the digital plans side of things, we've just added the Joel White 12'10" Pooduck Skiff planset to our downloadable / instant delivery boatbuilding plans. Big sister of the Shellback Dinghy, the Pooduck includes a jib, and another 1'8" in length.

Hot off the presses, WoodenBoat #253 (November/December) is now available in both print and digital editions.

With the publication of the November/December issue of WoodenBoat, we now have the latest digital edition of Getting Started in Boats. It's about the brilliance of local designs meeting local needs.

Amongst the visitors to our Store last week was Kaci Cronkhite, author of Finding Pax. She was kind enough to autograph a bunch of books, which are available for your reading pleasure.

And lastly, no doubt you were recently asking friends about wooden boatbuilding kits in the Ukraine. Of course, our WoodenBoat Forum is the place to find out about that kind of thing. Here's a thread about Unik Yachts on the Forum.
