If dark green is your color, you'll want to take a look at our new polo shirt. They are all-cotton, pique mesh, with that nice logo embroidered in ivory thread, so you can be comfortable and handsome. Sizes Small to XXL.
We now have the new issue of Mike O'Brien's Boat Design Quarterly in digital format. Features include three evolutionary designs from Phil Bolger, designs from William and John Atkin, as well as Oughtred and Vivier. BDQ gives you design commentary based on over a half century of experience building, sailing, and writing about boats. The print version should be available in a week or so.
It's time to think BOAT SHOW. At the end of June (24-26) the WoodenBoat Show will pull-out all the stops for its 25th annual event. And fortunately, it will once again be hosted at the fab Mystic Seaport Museum site. Between skills demos, museum collections, boats on the land and water, there's way too much to experience in just a day. Plus there is a tribute dinner on Saturday honoring Chesapeake Light Craft / John Harris and crew. Hit ShowTime for the various links. And while you're there, check out the progress of Mystic's snazzy new Thompson Exhibition building.
And lastly, next Monday is May 2nd, and that's when the new issue of Small Boats Monthly goes live. Editor Christopher Cunningham promises an interesting group of boats including a Chaisson dory, an Iain Oughtred Arctic Tern, a Herreshoff Coquina, and as they say, so much more. Set your alarm for 3:00pm eastern time.
