The "Getting Started in Boats" series in WoodenBoat has been well received since its debut seven years ago. And now that the 40th volume has been published, we've combined these into Two Sets of Twenty Issues as digital (PDF) downloads. Aside from saving a few dollars when you get either 1-20 or 21-40, they're compiled so typing a keyword via the "edit → find" in your Acrobat Reader program will scour all 20 issues in the set, and display the results, then click to open that issue.

If you've ever seen the Hervey Garret Smith book The Marlinspike Sailor, you may recall those racing catboats. We now have an exceptionally nice variation, made with Beetle Cats: Beetle Catboat Racers. Beautifully finished solid wood hulls, bright colored nylon sails, and nary a breeze required to set them sailing on the wind.

And, the latest issue, 232 of WoodenBoat magazine hit our doorstep this week. That means the Digital WB 232 is also now available, and that also means our WB Index has been updated, and ready to download. Granted you can also search our free On-line Index when you're tethered to the Net.

When was the last time you had a Netherlands "fix"? Maybe never? Well, we have (literally) just the ticket for you: Dutch Treat. The ten day tour, sponsored by WoodenBoat, begins in mid-June, so don't dilly-dally.

And, a bit closer to home, when was the last time you and your significant other did the "dinner and a show" type thing? We've got you covered. Just head to the Mystic Seaport Museum at the end of June, for Dinner and a Show. You can even upgrade your shop wall with a reminder if you download and print the WBShow Poster.
