There is a lot more to boat deign than good looks

Here is a book for all those boat appreciators that read articles in WoodenBoat but don't know their deadrise from their topside and need a better understanding of how choices in hull shape, rigging, and layout impact boat performance. This book will not make you a naval architect but it will guide in the choices to consider in the selection of the boat you decide to buy or build.
