I LOVE THIS BOAT

Years ago(1986) I ordered these plans with the intent to build it and teach my 4 kid to sail. I had built several boat before and sailed all my life. Its an easy boat to build but requires some experience and dedication. I adapted the rigging and sails from a venture 222 (about the same sail area with the full headstay jib) and setup a tabernacle slightly aft in order to lower the rigging and trailer her to the lake. She sails great in light air and handles choppy water easily. In gusty wind she is a bit tender to the rail but points nicely. We live on the lake now and sail her with grand kids whenever we have wind.
