Account Login: enables you to customize your order with an address book, multiple ship-to addresses (great for giving gifts), as well as checking order status.

Wish List: when you click on a product, and get to the detailed page you then have the option of adding the item to your wish list, saving it for another time.

Refer to a Friend: we LOVE this... click on a product, get to the detailed page you'll see a "Refer this page..." and then a pop-up let's you key a message, or drop that blatent hint via email and a link back to the item.

Address Book: enter addresses prior to or during your order, so you can save gift addresses for the next time you visit. It's amazing how those birthdays and holidays keep coming around every year or so.

Multiple Ship-to's: send items to several friends without having to create all new orders for each shipment. Plus you can use your address book and save re-keying.

Delayed Shipping: it might sound odd at first, as we emphasize quick order fulfillment. But, you may want us to delay shipping the order... perhaps you'll be out of town, or you want to have a package arrive close to a birthday. As you check out (just before the payment section) you'll see On Hold Date and a calendar, so you can select a future date for us to process the order.

Ship Immediately / Wait for all Items: is now an option. If you have some in-stock and some out-of-stock products, you have the option of getting what's in-stock now, or waiting for the out of stock items to come in. It doesn't affect your shipping charge either way, but, perhaps you just want everything to come together.

Search Field: select description, or pull-down for item number, then type a word and the search engine will find the item. Use quotes to limit the search. "John Brooks" yields one page because it requires both words to be together. But if you search John Brooks you'll get many many pages, as it will give all instances of John OR of Brooks. Also, the search is not case sensitive.

Browse and Sort: click into the catagories on the left sidebar, or select the Site Map link at the footer for a nicely organized way of understanding what we have to offer. Once you are in a catagory (like Models, ready-built) you can sort the items by price, description, or product number.

Quick Order: already know the item number? Click Quick Order at the header, key the number and it pops right into your basket.

Running Totals: at the header, it continually updates dollar total and number of items. Click View Basket to see the actual items in your shopping cart.

Estimate Ship Charges: with an item in your basket, you'll see a link to determine your ship charge. This is very slick because you can see what the ship charge is at any point of your order AND you can see the costs of the different delivery options, like 2-day and Next-day air. Our rates are "weight based", considered the most fair way to charge. ALSO, if outside the US and Canada, you will be selecting the AIRMAIL shipmethod. In the estimated shipping pop-up, you just select your country... and you must key your postal code, and if it has letters not just numbers, the letters MUST be in capital letters.

Order Status: shows received, processed, shipped, as well as order history.

Email Confirmation: as soon as we've processed your order, an automatic email goes out to you. No, you won't get bombarded with emails from us... we don't email with every step, and we never make emails available to list companies. Never ever.

Order Numbers: FYI... the site generates an order number when you place your order, and a new number when we process the order. If you have a question about your order, you can give us either number.
