This fleece is exceptional because the windblock layer sandwiched in between the fleece doesn’t have that crinkly/crunchy feel. The manufacturer (Port Authority) claims it blocks the wind 12 times better than regular fleece. While we don't really know what 12x feels like, we do know when we tested it in the Maine wind, it was impressive. Red comes with black lining, and a silver threaded embroidered logo (about 2 -1/4" tall).
You'll like the exceptionally nice finishing details... banded seams, the extra bit of soft fuzzy material atop the zipper so your neck doesn't come in contact with the metal when you've zipped all the way up.
HEADS-UP... the RED color is going to be dropped by the manufacturer, so supplies will be limited on that color.
