Stanley No. 4 Smoothing Plane

If you're going to use a plane more than a couple of times a year, this is the tool to get. The Stanley Sweetheart line of planes are finished on-par with the high-end toolmakers.

10" long, 2-1/2" wide, frog and base are one casting. Cherry wood handle/knob. Special attention has been given to the finish machining of the cast iron body and the adjusting threads and knobs.

Cut iron is 1/8" thick
Iron angle 25 degrees
Bed angle 45 degrees
