This was too nice to pass-up when Hank Lawson brought it by to show us. We've been carrying his mussel shell necklace for a couple of years now. He figured our warmer-clime customers might better relate to the oyster shell, and we certainly had to agree.
Hank Lawson retired from Brooklin Boatyard after 40 years of service, and turned his skills and energies to creating fine silver jewelry.
Cast from an oyster shell, each is signed and dated by Mr. Lawson, and each is made from pure silver (99% silver instead of sterling, which is 92% silver). Measures approx1-3/4" long, 1-1/4" wide, and comes with a 16" sterling silver necklace, plus jewel box.
