This "Terrapin Schooner" was used for turtle fishing along the Florida and Gulf coasts. With deadrise in the fore and aft ends, these boats handled better tha the traditional flat-bottomed versions and became known as "modified" Sharpies. The kit includes pre-cut parts and sails, thorough instructions and plans. You'll be suprised that such an easliy built model results in such a good looking boat.
