The renowned Gannon & Benjamin yard (or more properly, Marine Railway) get their due in a beautifully produced book about the schooner REBECCA. Now in their 30th year of designing and building wooden boats on the Vineyard, they specialize in traditional carvel (plank-on-frame) done to the highest standards.
You may have already been introduced to REBECCA by Michael Ruhlman in his book Wooden Boats. Now you'll have (as Paul Harvey would say...) "the rest of the story". It's all about craftmanship and integrity. Reviewed in WB #215.
