Model Keel Lead

Can be used for either the footy model Presto or Brando or your own design. Additionally you may want to consider trying various keel weights and shapes to improve sailing performance in different conditions.

Please note: When working with lead wear gloves and a dust mask as lead is poisonous! It is especially dangerous for small children and pregnant women. Inhalation or ingestion of lead or lead dust can cause lead poisoning. Wash hands and change clothes before doing anything else. Clean-up area with disposalbe wipes, then bag the wipes. Paint the keel bulb right away, for more protection.
