Designed by Joel White, the original boat was built plank-on-frame by Jimmy Steele (of Peapod fame), but no plans were ever drawn--until now. Tom Hill and Eric Dow have taken lines off the original boat and Tom built the prototype and has drawn a very detailed set of plans for strip construction, including full-sized mold patterns (so no lofting is required).

FAQs:
Are there floorboards?
-No, but the inside bottom of the hull is covered with two layers of 10-ounce woven roving
How are the seat risers attached?
-screwed to the hull from the inside with very shallow bronze screws, mostly to hold the risers in place as the epoxy cured. Screws are left in, but well sealed.
What glue did you use on the laminated stem?
-West System 105/205. Could use G-flex as well.
