No doubt about it. This is high end. 
5 1/4" long sole, 1 1/2" wide, at widest, bronze body, 12 degree bed, cutting angle of 37 degrees. Sole is wider at the center, narrower at the ends. And, it's certainly one of the more reasonably priced high-end tools you'll find, especially with the Lie-Nielsen name on it.
Blade is 1/8" thick tool steel, hardened to Rockwell 60-62. Blade cut: 1 1/4" |
