We have received just two shipments so far, and fulfill on a first come, first serve basis. Our second shipment will still not cover all back orders. We are trying to understand the arrival date of the third shipment. Supply is unable to keep-up with demand, but that's in large part because it's such a nice plane.
Borg #09 1/2" Block Plane
is used for fine trimming and end grain removal. The body is cast 40Cr steel with thick walls for added rigidity and ground to remain flat and true. An adjustable shoe provides easy adjustment of the throat opening. The blade cap is polished steel, and the knurled adjusting nuts are brass. The 1/8" thick tool steel blade, tempered to Rockwell c60-62, provides solid, chatter-free cutting. The plane body is 6 1/4" x 1 3/4" and the blade width is 1 3/8". Each plane is shipped in a nicely jointed hardwood box.
