You are viewing a boat whose design has evolved over the years from sail to power, with the sole purpose of trapping
lobsters. They are the working boats of small businessmen and women along the rugged New England coast. See WB #115 for an extensive article on lobsterboats.
The kit features a simplified hull construction method of interlocking, self-aligning parts and is planked with balsa sheeting. Also included with each kit: lightweight fiberglass cloth, stuffing box, prop shaft, propeller, and fittings. Easily adapted for radio control.
When you have finished building, whether you launch in the pond, or upon a mantle piece, we hear it’s good luck to cook-up a bunch of lobsters, melt plenty of butter, and invite your friends and neighbors over for the feast.
