Very nice shade of blue... not as dark as Navy, and not as bright as a Royal, these caps are made in Vermont with 100% Merino wool, and have "WoodenBoat" knitted across the front. Cross between a scull cap and beanie in size/height.
Notice the three "sizes" in the photo. Bottom left is hand-washed in cold water, dried on a towel. Bottom right is brand-new, never been washed. You'll notice the word
"WoodenBoat" is a bit narrow on the left hat... it will shrink a tad. AND... if you'd like it to be more on the "beanie" side, the top pictured cap went into (the always stylish) WB Prez Jimmy Miller's washing machine, warm water, and was rack dried. He's a runner, and loves the more "beanie" fit. So, you can actually "customize" the fit of your cap by the way you wash it.
