The 27' triple which sold originally for $4,975 (in the early 1930's) was equipped with a 250-horsepower Chris-Craft eight-cylinder engine. The triple cockpit equipped with this engine could reach speeds of 45 mph, being the fastest in the Chris-Craft fleet at the time.
